A little NSSBC Review:

The Finals

NJIT Nabs 15th

The Built Not Bought controversy will be talked about for a few years after this one...but NJIT did put together a solid performance regardless.

The Thrill of Victory

The feeling that you get when it truly all comes together is indescribable.

2013 Designs

It is going to be interesting to see where Bart and Co. go with the 2013 Design Set.  in 2009 there were deep undertrusses...in 2010 there were stacks with offset decking supports from the piers and gnarly angled undertrusses...in 2011 there were slightly more shallow undertrusses...in 2012 there were straight up stacks with mini-undertruss options for and extra couple of inches of depth and there were some radically offset overtrusses.  We could be back at single beams, or we could be at shallow overtrusses with big offsets.  It's going to be challenging I think...perhaps a large shift in design dynamics.

...waiting on keynote speakers and the rest...Results Very Soon.

The Word From the Eye in the Sky

Well, it looks like Cal and Cal Poly are killing it at the moment.

Cal at 5 and 5:15

Cal Poly at 5 and 5:30

Berkeley is fully tested and probably the front runner at this point.

UC Davis finished at about their mean practice time of 8:45, no penalties were seen, Ags had 4 builders.

Laval is right up there too at 3 builders and about 9:45...they also look very light.
