  2. Agreed, but what has always also been ridiculous is that this region has to compete in January!!! Students from this conference should really stand up and demand to compete during the spring just like the rest of the nation

  3. Smaller schools in the region have the same students for both canoe and bridge teams, so that was the rational behind it, but I do think it hurts are chances at doing better at the National Level
    Anyways, rules are up finally!

  4. You guys could had your voices heard on the meeting we had in Corpus during the summer but only U of H, A&M Kingsville and UT Pan Am attended.

  5. well thats another problem... there's not enough funding to make two trips one for steel bridge and one for concrete canoe/conference... unfortunately all these possible changes to the steel bridge competition are only discussed during the concrete canoe competition/conference....where the canoe people is not aware of what's going on with bridge....thats the problem that during the steel bridge competition there is no one from the texas section with power to change the time of the competition
