Poly Pomona Wins PSWC Overall

CP Squared

  1. CP squared would require Pamona to be a California Polytechnic. There is only 1 California Polytechnic and that is at San Luis Obispo. Pamona is a California STATE Polytechnic . Try searching Cal Poly on Google.

  2. A former Chrome Ollie member of a Top 5 National Finishing Steel Bridge Team, who had went to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona told me that CP squared simply meant to imply that there is a Poly and a Pomona, hence the squared.

However, since it is obviously a really, super, huge, important, and incredibly important, super, huge distinction:

    California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo

    There done.

    1. Furthermore...California State Polytechnic University, Pomona won the 2012 Overall PSWC Title...not bad for a California State Polytechnic University.

    2. Also, it's *Pomona, not Pamona. Spelling is important. I Googled Cal Poly as well...two things came up, outstanding engineering school in San Luis Obispo surrounded by fertile wine country, and a football team that loses to UC Davis quite a bit.
