What the fuck is up with this envelope?!?! There are gonna be so many disqualifications this season, ha ha ha.

    Well, I would call this years envelope crazy, so bridges will have intersting componets.

    Guys, you better know what you are doing with your columns and cross bracing or you will find your bridge a pile of scrap come loading time.

    Glad I am out as a student and hopefully can be a judge so I can see some collapses in the TexMex Region come January.

    Collapses a-plenty, it's all 'bout cross bracing and pier design this season...well and stack beams, or lightened stack warren. Interesting...Ka-Boooooooom!!! and the crowd goes "Ohhhhhh My Gawwwwwwwwd! Who Broke?"

    With deflection raised to the 1.5 power, you'd damned sure better find a way to keep the deflection under 1" or your toast. Once again stiffness scoring criteria will preclude anyone from going super fast with a 16-20 piece bridge.
