Article on the new Bay Bridge

Howdy y'all!  The big news out west is the countdown to the opening of the revolutionary new Bay Bridge SAS design.  Going from Oakland to Treasure Island.  It will be quite the event in the engineering world.

Props to UC Davis Adjunct Assistant Professor Brian Maroney (shown below leading a rare tour in the anchorage zone) who is helping oversee current construction, and was integral in the seismic performance evaluation during the design phase for the new spans.
