Secretly, I'm glad that fabrication costs are finally being considered in the Rules. Sure, it'll be tough to clarify for the Judging Committee, but the intricately connected Bridges of the past decade always had hidden hours of "cost" in the fabrication and machining stages that were never figured into the final cost...now, by standardizing member to member connections, it'll come down to connection design, construction preparedness, and overall structural design. It is a National equalizer in my opinion.
Why do I feel that T Slots, Buttons, and Circle Notches are all the same thing? Peg and Cup? Sounds like a simple Male-Female?
Yeah I agree with the Pulse^. I feel like there will be plenty of clarifications this year, mostly pertaining to connections, and how they must be fastened.
